Rob Base gave TwelveTen the exclusive on his past, present and future. The now solo artist from Harlem, New York who was best known for his hit "It Takes Two" (certified platinum), from the album also titled IT TAKES TWO (which was also certified platinum). The track, "It Takes Two", first became a regional hit and then slowly climbed the Billboard Hot 100, eventually topping the chart and picking up a multi-platinum single certification. The song also peaked at #3 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1988.

In our premiere issue of TwelveTen, Rob talks about Snoop Dogg's hit "Wanna Rock", which uses Rob's "It Takes Two" hit. He also talks about how it was to have his music featured in two box office hits, Transformers, and The Proposal, which stars Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds.
